About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer to support the company’s data analytics initiatives and bring clarity to complex business challenges. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions using Looker Studio or Power BI, transforming raw data into clear and actionable insights.

You’ll work cross-functionally with data engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, build reports and dashboards, and develop robust data models that enable smart, data-driven decision-making. This is a strategic role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving data puzzles, and is comfortable taking ownership of end-to-end BI development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Looker Studio or Power BI
  • Strong background in SQL and advanced data modeling, including Star Schema
  • Proven experience with relational databases such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or other RDBMS platforms
  • Experience working in a data warehouse environment with a strong grasp of dimensional data modeling concepts
  • Ability to translate business questions into effective data visualizations and solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills


Working Hours & Requirements

Must have at least 4 hours overlap with US Pacific Time (PST) between 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM PST, Monday to Friday

Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely with distributed teams

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions using Looker Studio or Power BI
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop and enhance applications, data integrations, and reporting functionalities
  • Visualize data in Looker Studio or Power BI to provide actionable business insights
  • Work closely with Data Engineers on data warehouse structures and optimization
  • Design scripts and pipelines for importing data from various systems and ensure accuracy through rigorous unit testing
  • Implement data governance, security measures, and compliance within dashboards and reports
  • Monitor report/dashboard performance and recommend enhancements
  • Conduct testing and validation of BI solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliability
  • Promote best practices in BI tools, data modeling, and report development
  • Estimate effort for new projects and manage timelines effectively
